Classic Tecmo Bowl Download On the Wii

Did you ever wonder what video games they use to make to play football before the holy grail of all video football games Madden came on the seen? As you should know that Nintendo releases its classic games every Monday for its downloadable games section on the Wii Shop Channel.

This weeks top classic is a old school football game called Tecmo Bowl. Tecmo Bowl pits the player versus the computer in 11-game, single-elimination playoff action. Players also can go head-to-head with a human opponent in action or coach mode.

I must have missed this game when it was out because I was probably playing my old electronic football game setting up each player one by one to run a play. Boy setting up those little plastic football fiqures to run plays sure took a lot of patience. Me and my friends even setup a ten game schedule to play for the championship.
