Growing up in the 1960's not to far from the end of World War II . As young boy I was a huge comic book fan. One of my favorite hero's was Captain America and his sidekick Bucky. I use to watch the Saturday morning cartoons watching Captain America fight the Nazi Germans of World War II and their head of terrorist operations the, Red Skull. 

There was nothing better than to see Cap using his acrobatic skills and flinging his bullet proof shield knocking enemies to the ground. As time passed and technology grew I was able to see a lot of my childhood heroes come to life on the big screen and show off their amazing super hero powers.

Comic heroes such as Batman, Spiderman, Superman and the Hulk have all made their presence felt with huge admiration from young and old who have followed their comic book heroes throughout the years.

Even as we speak one of my favorite video games on the Wii console has been Marvel Ultimate Alliance where you can team up and play as your favorite super hero fighting against Doctor Doom and his clan of super villains. It has really been a blast stepping into the shoes of Captain America if not only it being a video game.

I was hoping that Marvel would someday bring Captain America to the big screen fighting modern day terrorist such as Al Qaeda. But it has been announced that On his way to an arraignment at the Federal Courthouse in New York City, [Captain America] was shot in the right shoulder by a sniper's bullet. Did you ever wonder what video games they use to make to play football before the holy grail of all video football games Madden came on the seen? As you should know that Nintendo releases its classic games every Monday for its downloadable games section on the Wii Shop Channel.

This weeks top classic is a old school football game called Tecmo Bowl. Tecmo Bowl pits the player versus the computer in 11-game, single-elimination playoff action. Players also can go head-to-head with a human opponent in action or coach mode.

I must have missed this game when it was out because I was probably playing my old electronic football game setting up each player one by one to run a play. Boy setting up those little plastic football fiqures to run plays sure took a lot of patience. Me and my friends even setup a ten game schedule to play for the championship.
